Sports Illustrated Cover Design

Cutting down the net after a championship win is a special opportunity that all basketball players dream of. While I was covering the women’s basketball Final Four, I took a moment before players started cutting to grab a shot of the scissors up on the ladder. Sports Illustrated produces eye capturing covers, so I designed this with the idea of it being published before March Madness began to illustrate the intensity of college basketball. The final graphic was used for my personal brand and something I shared on social media.
